The station is about 90 kilometres south of Thargomindah on the well maintained, mainly gravel, Thargomindah – Hungerford road and is usually assessable by conventional vehicle as well as four wheel drive. From Hungerford which is on the NSW and QLD border, Kilcowera is roughly 90 kilometres north, on the Thargomindah road.
There is only one entrance into Kilcowera – our main driveway which enters the property from the west and is thirteen kilometres long.
Some of our tracks require a high clearance vehicle, but not necessarily a four wheel drive.
